LP3980
General Description
The LP3980 is designed for portable RF and wireless applications demanding performance and space requirements. The LP3980 performance is optimized for battery-powered systems to deliver ultra low noise and low quiescent current. Regulator ground current increases only slightly in dropout, further prolonging the battery life. The LP3980 also works with low-ESR ceramic capacitors, reducing the amount of board space necessary for power applications, critical in hand-held wireless devices. The LP3980 consumes less than 0.01μA in shutdown mode and has fast turn-on time less than 50μs. The other features include ultra low dropout voltage, high output accuracy, current limiting protection, and high ripple rejection ratio.

■ General Description The LN1121 series are precise, low power consumption, high voltage; positive voltage regulators manufactured using CMOS and laser trimming technologies. The series provides large currents with a significantly small dropout voltage. The LN1121 consists of a current limiter circuit, a driver transistor, a precision reference voltage and an error correction circuit. The series is compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitors. The current limiter's feedback circuit also operates as a short protect for the output current limiter and the output pin. Output voltage can be set internally by laser trimming technologies.
